Mr. Mohanty, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is the primary holder of the savings bank joint account. His client had a break down and was indisposed. Wife of his client moved this Court earlier by W.P.(C) no.25872 of 2020 and got order dated 14th October, 2020 from coordinate Bench directing the bank to consider the wife's requirement of operating the account. The bank allowed it.

He submits further, now his client is well but the bank is not allowing his client to operate his own account. He submits still further that instead of directing issuance of notice, there be direction upon the bank to consider his client's representation dated 2nd March, 2022 (annexure-3 in the petition).

Accepting submissions made on behalf of petitioner, there will be direction for petitioner to approach the bank with copy of his representation dated 2nd March, 2022 and this order. The bank is directed to consider and deal with the representation. Either it may accede to petitioner's prayer or give him reasons for being prevented from operating the account, within three weeks of communication. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of.
