Heard Mr. H.S. Deo, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

According to Mr. Deo, the petitioners are aggrieved by the action of the authorities in not receiving the paddy from them after making necessary payments as per the token issued to each one of them. He further submits that though highlighting all their grievances, the petitioners have approached the Collector, Kendrapara (opposite party No.4) on 21.03.2022 by filing a representation under Annexure-3 series however, till date the said opposite party has not taken any decision. In such background, he prays that that a direction be issued to the Collector, Kendrapara to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specific time period. 3.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Collector, Kendrapara (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner

// 2 // under Annexure-3 series in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner No.1, who in turn is directed to share such information with the other petitioners.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
