1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode. Order No.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
3. The Petitioner has challenged the order of confiscation dated 28.09.2021 passed by the Authorized Officer-cum-Assistant Conservator of Forest, Cuttack Forest Division, Cuttack in Confiscation Proceeding No.19 of 2020-21, which was confirmed by the learned District Judge, Jajpur in FAO No.24 of 2021.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner disputes the evidence adduced and submits that no seizure was made and the vehicle was empty at the time of seizure.
5. Learned counsel for the State submits that all the witnesses have stated that the timber was seized from the vehicle.
6. Considering the facts and the submissions made, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned orders as the same do not suffer from any illegality or infirmity inasmuch as for transportation of the timber, T.T. permit is required and it is not the case of the Petitioner that the seized timber was accompanied with the T.T. permit.
7. Accordingly, the writ petition filed by the Petitioner stands dismissed.
