ORDER

1. On the short ground that the Petitioner had purchased the land in question on 27th September, 1991 under the Registered Sale Deed prior to the impugned resumption order dated 18th June 1998, passed by the Tahasildar, Bhubaneswar in W.L. Case No.349 of 1985 and no notice was issued to the Petitioner prior to such order, the impugned order is hereby set aside.The said W.L. Case No.349 of 1985 will now be listed before the Tahasildar, Bhubaneswar on 7th September, 2022 on which date the Petitioner will appear together with a downloaded copy of this order.

2. The Tahasildar, Bhubaneswar will now proceed in accordance with law and after hearing the Petitioner, pass an appropriate order disposing of the aforementioned W.L. Case No.349 of 1985 within a period of four months thereafter. The Court clarifies that it has not expressed any view on merits.

3. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
