Misc. Case No.538 of 2017 and W.A. No.341 of 2017

1. There is an extraordinary delay of 203 days in filing the writ appeal. A perusal of the application reveals that it took 8 months even to apply for a certified copy of the order dated 30th January, 2017. Such an application was made only on 4th September, 2017. No satisfactory explanation is forthcoming for the delay in the application.

2. Consequently, the Court is not inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, the Misc. Case for condonation of delay is dismissed. Consequently, the writ appeal is dismissed.
