ORDER
15.02.2022 Order No.
08.
1. In the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the Opposite Parties more than five years ago on 20th October, 2016, it was stated that while some technical irregularities were noticed in regard to the villages, pursuant to an enquiry by the ACO (Tech) and ACO (Judl.), Board of Revenue as well as by the Deputy Secretary, Board of Revenue, Odisha, substantial irregularities were noticed in respect of the village Chandol only. The defects noticed in the other two villages, viz., Danpur and Kesharpur were only technical in nature like improper maintenance of case register, wrong reporting in monthly returns, etc.
2. Even as regards village Chandol, of the 1458 cases registered under Section 51(1) of the Orissa Consolidation of Holdings and Prevention of Fragmentation of Land Act, 1972 (OCH and PFL
Act), only 17 cases of defects were noticed and these have now been rectified.
3. No rejoinder has been filed to contradict any of the above averments. The Court is satisfied that no further directions are called for in the present petition. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
