This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to accept the annual M.V. tax in respect of the vehicle bearing Registration No.OD-11-J-2529 (Tipper) for a period from 1st April, 2021 to 31st March, 2022.

Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has paid the annual tax in Cyber Treasury through e-Challan, but the Regional Transport Officer is not recognizing the same. Hence, he prays for a direction for the aforesaid relief.

Mr. Behera, learned Standing Counsel for the Transport Department submits that the web-portal in which the Petitioner deposited the annual M.V. tax is not meant for the same. The Petitioner should have deposited the M.V. tax in Vahan Portal of the Transport Department. He, further, submits that in the meantime, the Petitioner has already paid the up-to-date M.V. tax in Vahan Portal, which has been accepted by the R.T.O.,

// 2 // Mayurbhanj. Hence, he has to make an application for refund of the amount deposited in Cyber e-Challan treasury. 5.

Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that he will instruct the Petitioner to make arrangement for withdrawal of the amount deposited in the wrong portal. 6.

In view of such submission, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
