This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2.

The writ petition involves the following relief: "It is therefore humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit this writ petition, issue notice to the opp. parties and upon hearing the parties directing the parties, allow the same directing the opp. parties to re-engage/continue the service of the petitioner as Sweeper-cum-Messenger, for the interest of justice; And pass any other order/orders, direction/ directions as this Hon'ble Court would be deem fit and proper as facts and circumstances of the case. And for the said act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in duty bound ever pray."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that highlighting his grievance, the Petitioner has filed a representation before the Regional Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1, on which, no decision has been taken as yet. Accordingly, a prayer has been made to direct the Opposite Party No.1 to dispose of the said representation expeditiously. 5.

Learned counsel for the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2-Bank on the other hand submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the Authority to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time. 6.

Considering the limited nature of grievance, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Regional Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 30.04.2021 (Annexure-4) within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Opposite Party No.1 is also directed to consider the representation in accordance with law and shall dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
