Heard Mr. D.C. Dey, learned counsel for the claimant - Appellant and Mr. P.K. Mahali, learned counsel for insurer - Respondent No.2.

Present appeal by the injured claimant has been filed challenging the common judgment dated 15th January, 2019 of learned 3rd MACT, Cuttack passed in MAC Case Nos.110, 111, 175 and 176 of 2014. The present appeal is concerning the award passed in MAC Case No.110 of 2014 wherein compensation to the tune of Rs.65,030/- along with interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing of the claim application, i.e. 14th February, 2014 has been granted on account of injuries sustained by the claimant in the motor vehicular accident dated 16th January, 2014.

Mr. Dey, learned counsel for the injured - Appellant contends that the learned Tribunal failed to grant any amount towards future treatment. As such he prays for enhancement of the compensation amount.

Having heard Mr. Mahali, learned counsel for the insurer and keeping in view the nature of injuries sustained by the claimant the insurer is found liable to pay a further consolidated sum of Rs.10,000/- to the Appellant.

In the result the appeals is disposed of with a direction to the insurer to deposit a further consolidated sum of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) before the tribunal within a period of ten weeks from today; where-after the same shall be disbursed in favour of the claimant. 6.
