ORDER

1. As per the chart submitted by the learned counsel for the Order No Petitioners showing the amount still to be received by the individuals, a suggestion was made by Mr. Debakanta Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate that a time bound direction can be given to the District Social Welfare Officer, Bolangir (DSWO) to examine each of them and send appropriate recommendations, if a case is made out, to the Government through the Collector.

2. It is, accordingly, ordered that each of the persons mentioned in the chart submitted by the Petitioners on the previous date will appear before the DSWO, Bolangir between 6th February, 2023 and 3rd April, 2023 on dates to be intimated to each of them by the

DSWO, Bolangir at least ten days in advance. They will appear with all the documentation they may have in respect of their respective claims. After examining each of the claims and after hearing the individuals, the DSWO, Bolangir will make an appropriate recommendation to the Government within a period of eight weeks thereafter. If aggrieved by the decision of the Government which should be communicated to such individual within a further period of eight weeks after receipt of the recommendation from the DSWO, Bolangir, it will be open to such individual to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

3. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.

4. A copy of this order be communicated to both of the District Social Welfare Officer as well as the Collector, Bolangir by the Registry forthwith for necessary compliance.
