Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

Considering the quantity of contraband seized from the possession of the petitioner, which is more than commercial quantity, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. However, having regard to the fact that the case was registered in January, 2021 learned Court below is directed to expedite the trial and to conclude the same within a year. 4.
BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
