Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 04.03.2022 in connection with Lahunipada P.S. Case No.30 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.133 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Bonai for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 341/324/294/307 of IPC. 4.

It is alleged that the petitioner had tagged knife on the leg of his cock, which was engaged in cock fight. When the injured asked him to remove the knife, the petitioner is said to have become enraged and assaulted him by means of the said knife causing some injuries. 5.

Considering the nature of accusations, the materials on record, and the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted in the case, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
