This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction to the Tahasildar, Sadar, Cuttack to register the mutation case filed by the Petitioner on the basis of Registered Sale Deed dated 8th October, 2021 executed in his favour.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instruction, submits that due to pendency of civil suit in respect of the land in question, the mutation case was not registered earlier. Since the civil suit has already been disposed of in the meantime, there is no impediment to register the mutation case and to proceed with the same in accordance with law. Hence, Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that the mutation case filed by the Petitioner on basis of Registered Sale Deed dated 8th October, 2021 shall be registered within one week. 4.

Taking note of the submission made by Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the Petitioner files a fresh

// 2 // application for mutation along with requisite fee and relevant documents within a period of one week hence along with certified copy of this order, the mutation case shall be registered within a period of three days thereafter and the Tahasildar, Sadar, CuttackOpposite Party No.2 shall do well to proceed with the matter in accordance with law.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
