This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

On the oral prayer of Mr. Acharya, learned counsel on behalf of Mr. Mohapatro, learned counsel for the Petitioner, he is permitted to implead the State of Odisha represented through its Commissioner-cum-Principal Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Odisha, Bhubaneswar as Opposite Party No.3 to the writ petition in Court itself.

It is submitted by Mr. Acharya, learned counsel that although notices have been issued in Mutation Case No.241 of 2021 and there is no legal impediment for early disposal of the same, the Tahasildar, Jaipatna-Opposite Party No.1 is not making any endeavour in that regard. Hence, this writ petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate submits that he has no instruction in the matter. However, if the mutation case is otherwise ready and there is no legal

// 2 // impediment for early disposal of the same, steps should be taken by the Tahasildar, Jaipatna in that regard. 5.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the Petitioner disposes of this writ petition with a direction that on production of certified copy of this order within a period of two weeks hence, the Tahasildar, Jaipatna-Opposite Party No.1 shall do well to consider and dispose of Mutation Case No.241 of 2021 stated to be pending before him in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight months therefrom, giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, if there is no legal impediment.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
