Heard Mr. A.K. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 2.

According to Mr. Biswal, the petitioner which happens to be a Women Self Help Group is aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities in giving it the order for purchase of paddy though similarly placed Self Help Groups have been favoured with the order for purchasing of paddy. He further submits that though highlighting all its grievances, the petitioner has approached the Collector & District Magistrate, Subarnapur (opposite party No.2) on 19.01.2022 by filing a representation under Annexure4 series however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that that a direction be issued to the Collector and District Magistrate, Subarnapur to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // directs the Collector and District Magistrate, Subarnapur (opposite party No.2) to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner under Annexure-4 series in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 5.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
