This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The writ petition filed with the following prayer: "In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances as narrated above, it is ardently prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the order under Annexure-6 and 8 and direct the Opp. Party No.2 to expunge the adverse remarks so communicated against the petitioner and the petitioner be extended all service and financial benefits including promotional benefits from the date his immediate juniors Opp. Party No2 and 4 got such benefits." 4.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that ventilating his grievance, Petitioner has filed representations before the Collector Balasore, Opposite Party No.2, dated 30.09.2021 and 06.01.2021 respectively. It is submitted that the said representations are pending before the Authority till date and no decision has been taken on such representations.

Learned counsel for the State on the other hand submits that he has no objection if a direction is given to the Authority to consider and dispose of the said representations of the Petitioner within a specific period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representations of the Petitioner dated 26.11.2019 and 06.01.2021 respectively (Annexures-7 and 9) strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.2 shall dispose of the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Decision so taken be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy of this order on proper application.
