This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R. Case No.1625 of 2021 arising out of Bantala P.S. Case No.396 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Angul for commission of offence punishable under Sections 379/429/120(b) of I.P.C. read with Section 7 of the OPCS Act/11(1) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act.

Admittedly the basis of implication is the co-accused statement. Taking into account the recitals in the FIR and considering the submissions made and being cognizant of the fact that investigation has been concluded in the meanwhile, this Court

directs that on surrendering within three weeks hence, the petitioner shall be released on bail. The Court in seisin to fix the terms. 5.

Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of.
