Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 23.02.2022 in connection with Tantiapal Marine P.S. Case No.18 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.13 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judgecum-Special Judge, Kendrapara for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 452/354/376/511 of IPC and Section 8 of POCSO Act. 4.
Considering the submissions, materials on record and the fact that as per the prosecution allegation the petitioner had only made an attempt to outrage the modesty of the victim, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail. 5.
BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
