This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/ physical) mode.

The Petitioner having been implicated in connection with Special Task Force P.S. Case No.08 of 2022 corresponding to Special (NDPS) Case No.01 of 2022 on the file of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Athmallik running for the alleged commission of offence under section-20(b)(ii)(C)/29 of the NDPS Act, has filed this application under section 438 of Cr.P.C. for his grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in the above mentioned case.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Counsel for the State.

Considering the submissions made and on going through the nature of accusations as those emanate from the materials on record; further keeping in view the other surrounding circumstances; I am not inclined to entertain this application.

The ABLAPL is accordingly dismissed.
