Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 10.01.2022 in connection with Mancheswar P.S. Case No.04 of 2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No.167 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 420/467/419/468 of IPC.

The allegation is that the petitioner cheated the informant by opening a bank account in his name without his knowledge and using such account he further cheated him by purchasing articles more than Rs.1 lakh with the aid of Bajaj Finace and also withdrew Rs.1,20,000/- from K.M. Global Pvt. Ltd.

Considering the nature of accusations, materials on record and the period of detention of the petitioner in custody, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall furnish cash security of Rs.1,20,000/- (Rupees one lakh twenty

thousand).

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
