This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.

Heard Mr.P.C.Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Zafarulla, learned Addl. Standing Counsel. 3.

According to Mr.Jena the petitioner is aggrieved by non-registration of his F.I.R. i.e. Nuagaon P.S. Case No. 43 dated 6.3.2022 under the appropriate provisions of law. He further submits that the F.I.R. should also have been registered for commission of offence under Section 307 I.P.C. in the fact and circumstances of the case. 4.

During course of hearing, Mr. Jena submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the Superintendent of Police, Nayagarh (opposite party No.2) in the matter by filing a representation and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion at an early date.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court

// 2 // grants liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before opposite party No.2 through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a representation is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.2 would do well to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
