1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner claims that notwithstanding the challenge in the present petition to a letter dated 30th September, 2012 of the State Bank of India, advising the Petitioner that his account was not eligible for settlement under the Bank's current One Time Settlement (OTS Scheme), the Petitioner has during the pendency of the present petition already cleared the dues of the Bank and, therefore, he is at present seeking the return of the property documents, which were placed with the Bank as security.

2. Without commenting on the correctness of the above submission, the Court notes that it constitutes a separate cause of action that has arisen subsequent to the filing of the writ petition.

Consequently, while disposing of the present petition as having become academic, the Court permits the Petitioner to seek other appropriate remedies that may be available to the Petitioner in accordance with law for the above grievance.
