1. The challenge in the present petition is to an order dated 20th November, 2012 passed by the Sub-Collector, Khordha in Revenue Misc. Appeal No.01 of 2012 declining the lease in favour of the Petitioner. Apparently, the said order is appealable to the Collector under Section 7 of the OGLS Act.

2. Accordingly, while permitting the Petitioner to avail such remedy, it is directed that if such an appeal is filed not later than 17th August, 2022 along with an application for condonation of delay, explaining the delay on account of pendency of the present petition, it will be considered by the appellate authority in accordance with law. It is clarified that the Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. If the appeal is accompanied by an application for interim relief and is filed within the time stipulated, the interim order passed by this Court dated 15th May, 2013 will continue till such time the appellate authority passes an order on such application.
