1. Heard Mr. J.N. Panda, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Miss S. Mishra, learned A.S.C. for the State-Opposite Party.

2. The Petitioner has prayed to complete the trial within a stipulated period.

3. A report was called for from the court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Koraput regarding status of the trial. Learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Koraput in his letter dated 7.5.2022 intimated that the record was received on commitment on 23.2.2016 and thereafter due to prolonged abstention of the Bar members from court work as well as striking of COVID-19 pandemic, the trial has been delayed.

4. Keeping in view all such factors, learned trial court is directed to complete the trial by end of March, 2023.

5. The CRLMC is disposed of with the aforesaid directions.

6. An urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
