Mr. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioner files a memo in Court today enclosing the letter issued by the Sub-Collector, Bhadrak dated 17.03.2022 in Court today. The Same is kept on record.

Heard Mr. S.K. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
According to Mr. Nayak, the petitioner which happens to be a Women Self-Help Group under Chandbali Police Station and though holds a valid license, however P.D.S. materials are not being supplied to it causing harassment to it. In this context, Mr.
Nayak relies on memo No.160/CS dated 17.03.2022 issued by the Sub-Collector, Bhadrak to all the Block Development Officers indicating the decision of the Government in F.S. & C.W. Department to allow renewal of license of existing P.D.S. retailers till 30th September, 2022 for the financial year 2022-23.

During course of hearing, Mr. Nayak submits that liberty
// 2 // may be granted to the petitioner to move the Sub-Collector, Bhadrak (opposite party No.3) in the matter by filing a grievance petition and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before the Sub-Collector, Bhadrak (opposite party No.3)through registered post/speed post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a petition is filed along with a certified copy of this order, the opposite party No.3 is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of such grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 6.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 7.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
