1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. None appears for the petitioner at the time of call.
3. Heard Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State and Mr. A.K. Mahana, learned counsel for the opposite party no.3 and perused the records.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the State Government and its authorities to take necessary steps in holding "Odisha-JEE" for the academic session 2016-17 in respect of admission of the students in B. Tech (Engineering) Course administered by the members-institutions of the petitionerassociation.

5. Since the aforesaid period has already been over, by efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous.
6. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
