The Writ Petition has been filed by the Petitioner praying therein to quash the impugned Office Memo No.7275/Pers, 1 dated 20.02.2020, as at Annexure-8, vide which a show cause notice was issued to the Petitioner, as to why he should not be dismissed from Government Service for his gross misconduct and dereliction of duty.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that during pendency of the Writ Petition, the final Order in the departmental proceeding has been issued imposing the punishment of compulsory retirement, which was communicated to the Petitioner vide Memo No.22223 dated 21.06.2021 and therefore, the Petitioner wants to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to file a fresh Writ Petition challenging the Order of punishment imposed on him.

In view of such prayer made in the I.A., the same is allowed.

Writ Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
