This writ petition involves the following prayer:- "Therefore, in view of the facts and circumstance narrated above, it is respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be graciously pleased to issue Rule NISI in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ calling upon the Opp. Parties to show cause as to Why the benefits of LIC policy in death claim of the policy holder/the deceased will not be released in favour of the petitioner as nominee with interest accrued there on due to delay in disposal of the claim of the petitioner. If the opposite partis fail to show cause or show insufficient cause then this Hon'ble Court may make the above said rule absolute.
And may be pleased to pass such other order / orders as this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

Taking this Court to the representation at Annexure-3 and the development involving this issue through Annexure-4 thereby asking the Petitioner to furnish certain documents, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that pursuant to the direction in Annexure-4, there has already been supply of documents long since. This Court finds,
// 2 // these developments are taken place in 2017 & 2019 respectively. Petitioner filing this writ petition in the year 2022 alleges that the request of the Petitioner in the year 2016 vide Annexure-3 has not been finalized as yet.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for Petitioner, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.1 to complete the exercise involving Annexure-3 and communicate the outcome to Petitioner within a period of one month from the date of communication of an authenticated copy of this order by the Petitioner. 4.
