This matter is taken up through Hybrid Mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with G.R. Case No. 264 of 2022, arising out of Puri Sea Beach P.S. Case No. 24 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Puri for the alleged commission of offence punishable under Sections-498 (A)/506/34 of the I.P.C read with Section-4 D.P.Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present F.I.R is an off suit of the petition filed under Section-9 of the Hindu Marriage Act for restitution of conjugal rights.

Taking into account such submissions, this Court directs that on surrendering within three weeks hence and moving for bail, the petitioner shall be released on bail. The Learned Court in seisin over the matter to fix the terms and conditions as deemed just and proper.

Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per rules.
