Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 23.03.2022 in connection with M.V-79 P.S. Case No.26 of 2022 corresponding to T.R. No. 14 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Addl. District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 363/366/366-A/354C/109/34 of IPC read with section 8/12/17 of POCSO Act and section 66-E/67/67-A/67-B of I.T. Act.

The prosecution allegation is that the petitioners conspired to

kidnap the victim, who is a minor girl and thereafter handed her over to one Niranjan Majhi. Subsequently, the nude photographs of the victim girl were made viral. The victim is yet to be traced out. 5.

Having regard to the fact that, prima facie, materials show the involvement of the petitioners as also taking into account the fact that the victim girl is yet to be rescued, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail which is therefore rejected. 6.

BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
