This petition has been filed by the Petitioner-wife to transfer C.P No.1044 of 2021 instituted at the instance of the Opposite Party-husband from the court of learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar to the court of Judge, Family Court, Cuttack.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

Admittedly the Cuttack and Bhubaneswar are twin cities. The distance between the two is not too far. It hardly takes 45 minutes to cover the distance by a public transport. No inconvenience would be caused if the aforesaid proceeding is tried before the Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar. Such inconvenience to a party is not the sole ground to seek transfer of the case from the court having jurisdiction to another

// 2 // competent court to try and dispose of the same unless sufficient reasons are there for the same.

Considering the facts and the submissions made, this Court is not inclined to transfer C.P No.1044 of 2021 instituted at the instance of the Opposite Party-husband from the court of learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar to the court of Judge, Family Court, Cuttack.

Accordingly, TRP(C) filed by the Petitioner-wife stands dismissed.
