This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.

The petitioner is a defaulting borrower of a loan facility availed from State Bank of India, Stressed Assets Recovery Branch, Madhupatna, Cuttack and was extended the benefit of an amicable settlement under the Special OTS 2019 vide sanction letter dated 23.09.2019. The petitioner in terms of the sanctioned settlement was required to pay a sum of Rs.20,04,852/- only within six months of the date of the issuance of the sanction letter, i.e., by 23.03.2020.

The petitioner concededly having deposited a sum of Rs.4 Lakhs only has prayed for

// 2 // extension of time to deposit the balance amount with interest in terms of the sanction letter.

2. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a Memo dated 23.09.2022 in Court and prays for permission to withdraw the Writ Petition since the loan account has been closed. The Memo be kept on record.

3. In view of the Memo filed, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
