1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode. Order No.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

3. The Petitioner is in custody since 12th December, 2021 in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.385/2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No.1009/2021 pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C.(R), Balasore for the alleged commission of the offence under Sections 307/34 of I.P.C. and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.

4. Considering the nature of accusations and the fact that prima facie the Petitioner fired from a gun to cause serious injuries on the informant, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected.

5. However, it is open to the Petitioner to renew his prayer after examination of the informant/injured.
