Heard Mr. P.K. Parhi, learned Asst. Solicitor General of India for Union of India along with Mr. D. Gochhayat, learned Central Govt. Counsel.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition challenging the order dated 22.08.2008 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack in O.A. No.160 of 2005.

The Central Administrative Tribunal, Cuttack Bench, Cuttack passed the order on 22.08.2008, but the petitioners have approached this Court by filing this writ petition on 10.05.2016, i.e. after lapse of two years.

Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this

writ petition at a belated stage of two years. As a consequence thereof, the writ petition suffers from delay and latches in view of the judgment/order of this Court in State of Odisha v. Surama Manjari Das (W.P.(C) No. 15763 of 2021 dismissed on 16.07.2021).
