1. An affidavit dated 5th April, 2022 has been filed by the Project Director, NHAI, Project Implementation Unit, Balasore stating inter alia that the compensation shall be paid to the Petitioner as per the statutory provisions of the National Highways Act, and that the compensation recommendation of the present Land Acquisition Officer-CABhandaripokhari shall be implemented after taking approval of the Competent Authority. The compensation amounts payable have been worked out and set out in the affidavit filed. The said affidavit is taken on record.

2. It is directed that whatever compensation is payable to the Petitioner will be paid together with interest from the date of

// 2 // the Award in terms of the 2013 Act. There is any delay in payment of compensation, it will be open to the Petitioner to apply to the Court for directions.
