This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement Order No.

(virtual/physical mode) 2.

This is the second journey of the petitioner, who is in custody in connection with Marsaghai P.S. Case No.184 of 2018 corresponding to S.T. Case No.238 of 2019 pending in the court of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kendrapara running for the alleged commission of offence under sections 302/34, I.P.C. in filing this application under section 439, Cr.P.C. for his release on bail.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.

Considering the submissions made and keeping in view the nature of accusations against the petitioner as those emanate from the materials on record and the manner of commission of the offence as well as the surrounding circumstances, while

// 2 // being not inclined to re-consider the prayer for grant of bail to the Petitioner, this application is disposed of with the observation that the trial court would do well to take all the effective steps as provided in law for conclusion of the trial as expeditiously as possible.
