ORDER (Oral) 07.04.2022 04.

1. This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode.

2. The brief facts of the case are that the Petitioner had preferred a W.P. (C) (PIL) No.14523 of 2018, whereby this Court vide order dated 15.04.2019 had directed the Collector, Ganjam, Opposite Party-herein that if the Petitioner files a representation citing all orders passed by this Court and ventilating his grievance made in the said writ petition within four weeks from the date of order, he shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

3. The Petitioner had filed a detailed representation on 30.04.2019 before the Collector-Opposite Party. It is the case of the Petitioner that despite many hearing, the matter has not yet been disposed of in violation of the order of this Court dated 15.04.2019.

// 2 // Aggrieved by the inaction, the Petitioner has preferred this contempt application.

4. During the course of hearing, Opposite Party vide Affidavit dated 25.03.2022 filed before this Court provided that he has complied with the order dated 15.04.2019 of this Court on 02.03.2022 by disposing of the representation made by the petitioner on 30.04.2019.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner concedes to the affidavit presented by the Collector-Opposite Party.

6. In view of the above affidavit, the contempt application is disposed of as infructuous.
