This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to make necessary correction in the cause title of the writ petition in Court today. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner, learned counsel for the Opposite Party Nos.1 and 2 as well as learned counsel for the State. Perused the record.

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the Opposite Party No.5 to consider case of the petitioner as has been requested by the Deputy Secretary to Government, General Administration (Vigilance) Department, Cuttack the letter No.479 G.P. dated 18.06.2021 under Annexure-5 to directed to released the retirement benefits such as Gratuity, G.I.S., Un-utilized leave salary including recovery amounts in favour of the petitioner within a stipulated period of time since the petitioner has retired from service.

Learned counsel for the State-Vigilance Department submits that since the matter is pending before the authority for consideration and he may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner within the stipulated period of time.

Considering the submissions made by the respective parties, the limited nature of grievance involved in the present writ petition, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Deputy Secretary to Government, General Administration (Vigilance) Department, Cuttack-Opposite Party No.5 to consider the case of the Petitioner in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. It is needless to mention here that the case of the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of by passing a speaking and reasoned order on the same. Any decision so taken on the case of the petitioner shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of ten days thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction/observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
