1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was alleged to have mentioned false date of birth in the service book. He further submits that since the petitioner was not the custodian of the service book and he was not the person who recorded the date of birth, the same might have been inadvertently written by the authority. However, a disciplinary proceeding was initiated against the petitioner for such entry and his salary has been stopped. Ventilating his grievance, the petitioner has submitted representations before the opposite party Nos.5District Education Officer, Ganjam, Berhampur and 6- Block Education Officer, Polosara, district- Ganjam respectively. Though he has submitted such representations more than six months ago, the same are still pending.

4. In such view of the matter, opposite party Nos.5- District Education Officer, Ganjam, Berhampur and 6- Block Education Officer, Polosara, district- Ganjam respectively are directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioner, by passing a

// 2 // reasoned order, within a period of four months from the date of production/presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of this writ petition.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
