Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. Order No.

This writ petition involves the following prayer: 'It is therefore prayed that Your Lordship shall be graciously pleased enough to issue writ of mandamus issuing Rule Nisi to show cause to the Opp. Parties as to why the work orders amount of Rs.1 lakh for Annexure-2 and also another Rs. 1 lakh for Annexure-3 shall not be disbursed in favour of the Petitioner, since he has completed the work by 31.12.2008 as per the terms and conditions of the aforesaid work order. If the Opp. Parties do not show cause or show insufficient cause the Rule Nisi may be made absolute.

And pass any other order/orders, direction/directions, writ/writs as this Hon'ble Court may think fit and proper; And for this act of kindness the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray."

Even though the writ petition was entertained on 03.05.2011, there is no counter affidavit as of now. As twelve years already passed in the meantime, this Court finds no purpose in keeping such matter pending any further. Accordingly, in disposal of the writ petition, this Court directs, in the event any cause of action still survive, action as appropriate be taken by the competent authority considering the writ petition is a representation and complete the entire exercise within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
