This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel.

The present writ application has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:

"It is therefore, prayed that the Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus directing the Opposite Parties particularly the Opposite Party No.1 to dispose of the appeal under Annexure-10 within a time stipulated by the Hon'ble Court for the interest of justice. 4.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner challenging the order passed by the departmental authority imposing punishment, the Petitioner has preferred an appeal before the Disciplinary Authority. It is stated that the same is pending since 20.03.2013. The Opposite Party No.1 shall make all endeavour to expedite hearing of the appeal filed by the Petitioner and the same be

// 2 // heard and disposed of within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The decision so taken on the appeal filed by the Petitioner, shall be communicated to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation the writ application is disposed of.
