1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had joined as a Night Watchman on regular basis in the Educational Institution of the opposite party No.3- Principal-InCharge-cum- Secretary, Sri Satya Sai School, Kalavikash Kendra Road, Buxi Bazar, Cuttack on 13.10.2007. However, the petitioner remained absent due to the ill health of his wife for 25 days without informing the authority. In such view of the matter, show cause notice was issued to him on 19.07.2021. Subsequently, the petitioner filed his reply on 27.07.2021. Due to the non-consideration of his show cause reply, the petitioner filed an appeal vide Appeal No.565 of 2022, before the opposite party No.2- Director, Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar which is still pending. He further submits that the opposite party No.2- Director, Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar be directed to dispose of the appeal within a stipulated period.

In such view of the matter, the opposite party No.2- Director, Secondary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar is directed to dispose of the appeal of the petitioner, after giving sufficient opportunities of hearing, by passing a reasoned order, within a period of two months from the date of production/presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
6. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
