1. The Petitioners' grievance about declaring their village Nankar, PO-Ayatapur, PS-Kendrapara, Disttrict Kendrapara as a revenue village should be considered by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Government of Odisha in the first instance.
2. Accordingly, a direction is issued that the said authority will give any one representative of the Petitioners a hearing on a date to be informed to them at least 10 days in advance. A reasoned order shall be passed not later than 3rd April, 2023 and communicated to the Petitioners within a week thereafter. If aggrieved by such decision, it will be open to the Petitioners to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law. The Court clarifies it has not expressed any view in the matter.
