Mr. Joshi, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is a poor farmer. His crop suffered fire accident, as would appear from report on memo dated 22nd December, 2021 issued by the Tahasildar to opposite party no.3. He submits further, his client had taken crop insurance under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojona (PMFRY). He refers to annexure-6 to show premium was paid for total sum assured Rs.2,68,581.56/-.

Mr. Sharma, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and points out that premium was paid to the bank, who is not a party. Neither is the insurance company a party.

Opposite party no.3 is directed to consider and dispose of petitioner's claim for compensation. Petitioner will approach the said opposite party with copy of said memo dated 22nd December, 2021 and this order. Opposite party no.3 is directed to deal with petitioner's claim within three weeks of communication. It is made clear that petitioner's claim to the Administration is for compensation. Scope of this writ petition does not include the insurance claim. 4.

The writ petition is disposed of.
