1. Heard Mr. S. Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. K. Das, learned A.S.C. for the State-Opposite Party.

2. The offence alleged is under Section 62 of Mineral Conservation and Development Rules, 2017 in 2(C) CC No.43 of 2018 and the Petitioner is the accused.

3. In course of hearing it is submitted by Mr. S. Das, learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner and the complainant have filed a petition for compounding the offence as reflected in order dated 19.3.2021 of the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar. He further submits that the purpose would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar for early disposal of the said petition which is pending till date.

4. Thus considering the limited prayer as advanced by learned counsel for the Petitioner, the CRLMC is disposed with a

direction to the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar to dispose of said joint petition filed by both the parties for compounding the offence as per the order dated 19.3.2021 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

5. An urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
