This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

Heard the learned for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438, Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with Mangalpur P.S. Case No. 158 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No.590 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Jajpur for the commission of the alleged offences punishable under sections 341, 294, 323, 325, 354, 307, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the State has produced the case diary and placed the injury report of one Sandhyarani Sahoo, which indicates that she has sustained simple injuries.

// 2 // Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the ingredients of the offence under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code are not attracted and the fact that petitioners have been granted interim protection since 12.04.2021 and there is no material that they have misutilized their liberty and after hearing the learned counsel for the State, the interim order dated 12.04.2021 is made absolute.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
