Heard Mr. A.K. Mishra, learned Additional Government Advocate and Mr. S.K. Dash, learned counsel for opposite party no.1.

The State-petitioners have filed this writ petition challenging the order dated 03.01.2017 passed by Orissa Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, Bhubaneswar in O.A. No. 2812 of 2016.

On perusal of the record, it reveals that the order of the Tribunal was passed on 03.01.2017 and the State-petitioners have filed this writ petition only on 04.05.2018, i.e. after about one year four months of the order passed by the tribunal. Therefore, this writ petition suffers from delay and laches in view of the judgment/order of this Court in the case of State of Odisha v. Surama Manjari Das (W.P.(C) No. 15763 of 2021 dismissed on 16.07.2021) and State of Odisha & Others v. Pravasini Xess & Others (W.P.(C) No. 9740 of 2020 dismissed on 15.07.2021). 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. Interim order passed earlier stands vacated.
