Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This writ petition involves following prayer: "Under the aforesaid fact and circumstances, it is, therefore prayed that your Lordships may be pleased to issue a Rule NISI, calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why appropriate writ/direction/order shall not be issued to supply copy of the Settlement ROR in respect of the petitioner's purchased land appertaining to Hal Plot No.1393 against Sabik Plot No.888/1085 corresponding to Sabik Khata No.368/7, Hal Khata No.722 of Mouza-Padanpur, Tahasil-Jatni, Dist: Khurda within a short stipulated period of time; And to grant any other relief as deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case;

And for this act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray."

Looking to the innocuous nature of prayer but however without expressing any opinion on the entitlement on the availability of any such record, this Court disposes of the writ petition simply directing the competent authority, if available, to supply the copy of settlement ROR

// 2 // in respect of petitioner's purchased land appertaining to Hal Plot No.1393 against Sabik Plot No.888/1085 corresponding to Sabik Khata No.368/7, Hal Khata No.722 of Mouza-Padanpur, Tahasil-Jatni, Dist: Khurda by completing the entire exercise within a period of two months from the date of communication of certified copy of this order by the petitioner.
