Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for both Parties submitted that for the Petitioner involved in a case involving Sections 498-A, 323, 294, 506 & 34 I.P.C. and thus the case of the Petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court passed in W.P.(C) No.4834/2022 on 23.3.2022.

For there is no dispute in the settled position of law on this score, this Court disposing of the Writ Petition directs the Passport Authority to grant Passport in favour of the Petitioner keeping in view the observations in the judgment of this Court passed in W.P.(C) No.4834/2022 on 23.3.2022 also by keeping necessary undertaking from the Petitioner to ensure that there is no loophole.
