This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.

(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The writ petition filed by the petitioner involves the following prayer:

"Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to: i) Direct/order the Opp. Parties to grant the GP of Rs.4800/- in place of Rs.4600/- at the stage of 1st Financial Upgradation and GP of Rs.5400/-, instead of Rs.4800/- at the stage of 2nd Financial Up-gradation on completion of 21 and 20 years of service under RACPs with all other consequential service and financial benefits, within a stipulated period keeping in view the Government Orders as at Annexures-4 to 10.

ii) Pass such other order(s) or issue direction(s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the bona fide interest of justice; And for this act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in duty bound ever pray."

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that petitioner ventilating his grievance has filed a representation before the Commissioner-cum-Secretary, SS & EPD Deptt, Govt. of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1, dated 6.4.2021, which according to

// 2 // the petitioner is still pending consideration before the said Authority. Accordingly, a prayer has been made to direct the O.P. No.1 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner expeditiously. 5.

Considering the limited nature of grievance and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 06.04.2021 (Annexure-11) strictly in accordance with law, taking into consideration Annexures-4 to 10, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party No.1 shall dispose of the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Decision so taken be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 6.

With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. 7.
